Victorian Livestock Exchange, Pakenham

The Pakenham Victorian Livestock Exchange was built in 1998 and was the first saleyard in Victoria to be built undercover with a soft floor. The soft floor and quality lighting provides excellent conditions for both livestock and employees. Currently more than 170,000 cattle are sold annually through the saleyards.

The facilities at the VLE include the latest weighing and accounting systems, AVDATA truck-wash facilities, boardroom and a 100-seat restaurant and function centre.

Monday:
Trade Sale – Fat Market   8:00 am

Tuesday:
Export Market – Cows & Bulls   8.30 am
Calf Market (Small) – 10:00 am

1st Tuesday Each Month:
Pigs, Sheep & Lambs, Goats – 12:00 noon

Every 2nd Thursday:
Store Sale – Heifers, Steers, Cows & Calves – 10:00 am
